Where is G-d?
Is He hiding on a mountain, waiting for us to climb up?
Is He dwelling in the waters, in the watery deep for us to find?
Is He riding upon a rainbow, which we can only see after a storm?
Is He hidden in the darkness, which we me must seek out in a cave within the earth?
Is He hiding in the cosmos, behind some great constellation’s birth?
Or have I got it all wrong… and its some emotion that is needed; perhaps mirth?
That I need to cultivate within myself- forgetting all but my very birth?
Do I need to deny myself, almost everything I want?
Must I beg forgiveness, from all my friends, family, mother, cousin, aunt?
Do I need to study Torah almost every waking moment?
Will I need to devote a lifetime, sincerely seeking true atonement?
Do I need to help everyone I meet, till I’m nearly going broke?
Do I need to sincerely listen, to everyone even the most jaded folk?
Do I need to risk a fortune and wager everything I own?
Do I need to sell my house and wander forever without a home?
No I tell you it’s not that way; it is so simple yet so true.
G-d is not so very far, He is as near as your own heart?
You can love G-d, and keep His mitzvah’s, forever walking in His ways.
Then we’ll all be blessed with His kindness, just as plants soak in the sun’s rays.

Try opening the music in another window, and reciting the “lyrics” above to the meter of the song. It almost fits, a few more lines, maybe a slide show to follow.

Apparently when I had first published this, I doubt I would have went through all of this trouble if, either I knew how to embed YouTube videos, alternatively the person who placed this on YouTube may have not enabled embedding. Since one never truly knows what might be, I will now embed the video and leave the link. If the IP police come along and tear down the video, then perhaps a I will need to do it this correctly and commission as small orchestra.
