I could go on and tell you how I became disillusioned with the American way. I could tell that I have become turned off to looking at everything from such a low, and unimportant perspective.

I could list dozens of things that are so very wrong with the way business as usual gets done here in the United States. Like perhaps countless thousands of others I could on and probably bore all my readers to tears.

Yet the real turning point was just the people and the places that I visited when I spent 44 days in Israel over the summer of 2009.

There is no doubt that the Klezmer Festival in Tzfat was an incredible event, yet the I suppose in a way the little musical video filmed in the Chabad run Youth Hostel Ascent was something that I feel captures the spirit of the people of Tzfat.

Surroundings make a difference. As I write this I am not at the usual Starbuck’s location. I ran into someone who once again has seriously been offering me the opportunity to sell for him on commission only, of course. I realize that people have this stereo-type image of who a salesman is, from what he looks like to how he dresses, and the speed at which he talks. I realize there are sort of images that people have, and fully detailed images about what succes really looks likes, so here it is folks, this is the absolute best that I can do. Once Again Reconfirming That G-d Is In Charge, and Has a Plan For Us All!

I thought I would just start with a good title in time for Rosh Hashanah. Is Rosh Hashanah coming early this year, or is it simply the same old story as ever that we can never be truly ready for this moment?
