It’s been a long time, coming. It’s going to be a long time gone. It’s hard to say how your average orthodox Jew might relate to such a phrase. However I can tell you this. I grew up in a non-racist household. I somehow learned that not only was it wrong to judge a book by its cover, but that it probably end up taking you exactly in the wrong direction. Today, I attended a Shabbaton that renwed my belief that there even if it appears as if the majority of the orthodox Jewish movement, is moving in exactly the wrong direction, that a small pearl of wisdom is sometimes all that is needed to redeem an entire community. I recently read something in the Netivot Shalom that states something along the lines of: That which does not kill you, will make you stronger. The concept which is well established is biology is: Even babies are given a certain a portion or even an attenuated version of a deadly virus. The baby then develops anti-bodies against the true virus, and if later exposed simply does not get ill or worse yet die. The most important point that needs to be [...]

Start-Ups the New American Dream- Much more difficult today when every investor either wants a guaranteed return, or some ridiculous payback and interest payment scheme that would certainly make it extremely difficult for a new start-up to survive in an already difficult economic climate. – Loans for those who don’t need them along with tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. ts amazing how much of their own private information that people are willing to simply give away for the sake of what? The time I spend on the internet is typically involved in researching various things, checking on the status of some of my domains. This is a difficult time as far as expenses are concerned because I have between 30-50 domains that are due to expire or enter into redemption. The interesting thing is that I found all sorts of website that were using Discuss, for their comments and that’s when the difficulty began. I log in to Facebook from time to time and event though I often have many tabs open I am particularly careful to log out of Facebook rather than simply closing the tab, although sometimes I forget. Now I saw this really cool post that was [...]

Unfortunately anti-semitism is making a huge comeback. I have not written on fundamentally Jewish topics for a variety of reasons, the main reason that I have not done so is because I have been thoroughly and completely focused on turning what may have started out as a hobby, into a viable web based business. I cannot do what I usually do, and bring up all kinds of related topics, issues and sources, because quite honestly things are hitting way to close to home. So I will condense this whole presentation, into a paragraph (or two…maybe three) and then go to the video tape. For the largest part of my life, I have not worn a Kippa (except when going to synagogue) did not particularly worry about having kosher food, nor did I worry about turning lights on or off on Shabbos. Yet I am Jewish, always have been always will be. Now it just so happens that my mom survived as a hidden child during the Holocaust which was the horrific aspect of what historically is known as World War II. That being said it should not be a surprise to most people that growing up in the relatively “democratic” [...]

Change Your World View, and The World Changes With You. By Stephen C. Sanders, A venture being developed, seeking one Angel Investor in the $15-25k range (submit inquiries within seven days of publication, SocCloud1@gmail.com). Tuesday January, 10, 2012, 12:27pm EST (1st edit) under 500 words. It’s no secret to those who know me, (even if just as Facebook friends) that I am planning on moving to Israel. [ 44 days That Changed My World View ( the original working title of this post) is about how one person has envisioned a better way of life, and will not give up, until finding at least one person who truly wants to hear the whole and very simple plan, who is in a position to back it up with a very small investment ] Failure is not an option! I could go on and tell you how I became disillusioned with the American way. I could tell that I have become turned off to looking at everything from such a low, and unimportant perspective. I could list dozens of things that are so very wrong with the way business as usual gets done here in the United States. Like perhaps countless thousands of [...]

Surroundings make a difference. As I write this I am not at the usual Starbuck’s location. I ran into someone who once again has seriously been offering me the opportunity to sell for him on commission only, of course. I realize that people have this stereo-type image of who a salesman is, from what he looks like to how he dresses, and the speed at which he talks. I realize there are sort of images that people have, and fully detailed images about what succes really looks likes, so here it is folks, this is the absolute best that I can do. My screen went blank about three times in a row. Despite what all the well meaning folks at Apple have told me, I am pretty concerned about his computer crashing with all its info and files. Also, people in general do not typically share even a small part of my dream, so therefore I use images, when words fail, and quote authors, or movies, when images fail, and when all else fails, I do what anyone else would eventually do. I have talked to dozens of people, I have shared enough [...]

Poem by Stephen C. Sanders written, Sunday January 8, 2012 5:55pm, uploaded to website 8:51pm EST A slice of life, A tiny taste. Movement forward, Sometimes just a great deal of waste, You’ve got yourself invested, in something no one’s ever heard of. What would your friends say, what would they think? Does it really matter, A disapproving glance, a subtle smirk. Sure I see it, I’m no jerk. A superficial thought leaving someone’s mind as soon as it got there, No that’s not the thing that brings me to darkness and despair. Is it possible that the path I walk is so narrow, that it simply would not endure a pair. Why is it, how is it, that the things I want to say, or scream out loud, End up as a mutter, a stillness enshrined in quiet resignation. Why must it be, that a simple poem, may never just reflect a happy thinking moment. Like so many other moments, merging into one another. Never truly separate never truly intertwined. At times nature seems so twisted and convoluted, when nothing internally changes… other than perspective. Even though such deep emotions and thoughts never reach [...]

There is a concept that states that if you have a tendency to go to one extreme, its sometimes necessary to go to the other extreme in order to correct it. I am going to try to list three things that I came here to write about and then do y best to get the point quickly, upload a pic,. and get back to the endless work ahead. The hardest work I do on the web relates to some very technical details that I encounter nearly all the time. The technical issues crop up, when you try to do something differently or use a new software package. People will judge your website based on its current appearance and they will not care very much about how hard you have worked to get there. In my humble opinion, its better to give people (your visitors) a clue about whats going on, if you anticipate many changes. The direction which I am trying to move in requires that I obtain a greater command of code. Utilize more tools which form the framework of website that have more functions other than simply displaying text and images. For myself website development may have started [...]

Should the government be allowed to seize a domain or shut down websites due to intellectual property infractions? An essay with photographs written by Stephen C. Sanders. 1550 words, thursday December 29 2011 1:32pm Pulling out all the stops as the Calendar year finishes up. How to get my thought across in an organized way, without getting endlessly and hopelessly distracted. One of the hugest obstacles that I constantly face is that I am interested in a many things. In addition I form these neat little theories of my own, that are so typically contrary to whatever the common wisdom that typically guides so much of what really goes on in the world. For example I am well aware of some political action that is supposedly occurring today that really relates on some level, to perhaps every single thing that I have been working on for at least a full year now. Yet even as I write those very words, I am still not sure that I thoroughly understand the issue at hand well enough to even have some sort of opinion. So here it is, right here in the largest font available in bright red. Should the government [...]
